Dr Umair Qidwai has conducted cataract surgery camps in Sri Lanka, contributing to the fight against preventable blindness. These programs provided essential surgical care to patients in underserved areas, offering them the opportunity to regain clear vision and improve their quality of life. The experience further strengthened his commitment to community eye care and global outreach.

Dr Umair has had the privilege of conducting multiple cataract surgery camps across the globe, bringing sight-restoring care to underserved communities. His work spans more than six countries, including outreach programs in Ethiopia and other parts of Africa, where he performed high-volume cataract surgeries to help reduce preventable blindness and improve quality of life for patients with limited access to eye care.
